Liberty Travel Agents Letterkenny

Fringe follows a team of FBI/Homeland Security agents (and associated "consultants") as they track down and deal with various incidents that cannot be explained by standard science, and that the regular authorities have no way to handle. The team, which is called the "Fringe Division," is lead by Special Agent Olivia Dunham, and is comprised of herself, Dr. Walter Bishop, Peter Bishop and Agent Astrid Farnsworth.

Walter is an old-school mad scientist, without whom the unit would have little chance of identifying, let alone dealing with, the various crazy phenomena that they come across.

Peter is Walter's son, sort of (we'll get to that), and while he's also a genius, he's mostly a jack-of-all-trades and general ne'er-do-well.

Astrid is tasked with the disturbing job of Walter-sitting (he's crazy... really, really crazy), a task to which she is emminently suited.

Fringe Seasons 1 and 2 - a Brief Recap

In Season 1, we were introduced to the team and to the many disturbing events going on that had no explanation (freaky diseases, mutants with uncontrollable superpowers, teleportation, telepathy, bizarre weapons, even strange, bald time travellers... you get the idea). We find out that Walter actually laid the groundwork for a lot of this stuff (mad scientist, remember?) but when he went crazy and got locked up, other people got ahold of his theoretical (or not so theoretical) research, and made it work. Zaniness ensues, and our team gets to figure this stuff out, but rarely gets to lay the smack down on any bad guys.
